“What turns women off more, a whiny or a needy guy?”

Being whiny and needy are not very appealing traits, so I’d assume they both stand an equal chance of putting off anyone.

If a woman doesn’t like a partner who complains a lot or is much too verbal about what he doesn’t like about life or any particular thing, then chances are she’s not gonna want to be with a whiny guy.

And if a woman considers herself to be self-sufficient and very protective of her time and privacy, even when she’s in a relationship, then I can see her not being comfortable with the idea of having a boyfriend who’s needy or clingy.

It’s kind of like being between a rock and a hard place, and it all depends on the woman in question. Personally, I don’t see myself having the patience for either. I’m as Tica as they come, so if you want to stand out to someone like me and actually have a chance of getting me to take you seriously, you’ll need to do better than being whiny or needy.

Other women may be less discriminating or just more inclined to give someone the benefit of the doubt, so they may be able to tolerate one more than the other. It can’t be healthy in the long run, though, especially if a guy wants his relationship to last, so if you’re someone who has whiny or needy tendencies, you’ll have to figure out the best way to work on them.
