Before going

Are you excited yet? There are all sorts of things you could do in Costa Rica and we haven’t mentioned all of them. These are just the top picks that tourists like to hype over after they’ve made their stops there. If you can imagine yourself being on this date with your partner, you need to learn some things first.

For one thing, as you can see from the prices, Costa Rica isn’t as cheap as some people would think. So you can tell this isn’t a budget-friendly vacation. Make sure you prepare enough money and you plan thoroughly.

Second, even though Costa Rica is a small country, you should know that it takes longer to get around. This is mostly due to the not-so-great infrastructure. The roads aren’t as accommodating and there are routes that cause lots of traffic since trailer trucks tend to make things harder for other drivers.

Lastly, US dollars are readily accepted so fortunately you won’t have to worry about the currency much. You may need to check the exchange rate though.

There! Now that you’re aware of how it is in Costa Rica, go take that vacation!
