There are several reasons for this. First, let’s go over the fact that men do have the tendency to prioritize physical attractiveness. In their eyes, younger women tend to be hotter.
Second, there’s the mature levels in play. Women do have a tendency to mature faster than men, as mentioned in a study conducted by EurekAlert. Not all, mind you, but a lot are like that.
Going for older women, or even women their age, isn’t always ideal for men when it concerns their maturity. But with younger women, the playing field is a lot more even.
Third, and this concerns those who are primarily interested in having families, but older couples tend to have greater difficulty conceiving, also as mentioned in a study reported by ACOG. With younger women, this difficulty is reduced considerably.
So, there you go. Men who prefer younger women may turn to either of these individual reasons or it could be a mixture of these.
