“What are secrets that we should never share with our partners when in a relationship?”

Ideally, you shouldn’t make a habit of keeping secrets from your partner. That tends to cause trust issues and insecurities.

Having said that, if you’re keeping secrets that don’t affect your partner, or secrets that aren’t yours to tell, then there’s probably no good reason for you to share them at all — to your partner or to anybody else.

Trade secrets concerning your work and other non-disclosure agreements you’ve signed are also a safe bet. I’m sure your partner wouldn’t mind you not sharing, considering it’s in your best interest to keep them secure.

Sometimes, there can also be secrets that may concern your partner but it’s just not the right time to tell them yet. Sharing those will be at your discretion, and it’s better to use your best judgment in figuring out when and how your partner should know about them.
