The best way is to remind yourself that no amount of love can ever justify abuse.
You shouldn’t have to “handle” it. You shouldn’t even have to deal with it.
You should demand the love and treatment you know you deserve.
Leaving an abuser will often be difficult, even scary, but it’s only gonna get worse if you stay and let the relationship continue. Even if he’s convinced he loves you, the fact that he’s abusing means his idea of love isn’t healthy or right.
