I don’t want to mince words, but it is stupid if you wholeheartedly expect that the cheater has completely changed or will never do it again.

You may believe it to be unlikely–and maybe it is. However, that’s one of those scenarios where it’s best to sleep with one eye open.

Forgive, from a compassion or spiritual sense, sure. Why not? But never forget and always be on the lookout.

Until the person who betrayed your trust (not just with cheating) has totally proven themselves should you fully let your guard down.
