Because they’re scared of going through what they went through all over again.

A divorce can be a very difficult and traumatizing experience. Sometimes, it’s even more challenging for a woman, especially if her husband didn’t treat her right and if she has children to take into account.

So a divorced woman saying she never wants another man again usually means she’s been through too much to risk getting hurt again or to risk exposing her children to a man who will not be good to them.

It means the possibility of finding love again is not worth the chance of history repeating itself.
