“Why are women looking for young boys?”
I know what you’re probably thinking, and I agree. There are women whose reasons for preferring to date younger men are . . . well, not morally acceptable.
But by young boys, I hope you mean those who are of legal age, at least. I’m going to operate on that presumption for this question.
Just like there are healthy relationships between older men and younger women, some women also look for men who are younger than them because that’s their dating preference.
They could’ve had relationships with older men or men their age in the past that did not end well, leaving them with significant trauma. It’s also possible that they just connect better with younger men because they, too, consider themselves to be young at heart.
As long as the relationships they pursue are with consenting partners that have no power imbalance or abuse, there’s nothing wrong with this inclination.
Otherwise, they’re certainly going to belong to the negative stereotype that so often taints people who prefer dating younger people.
